- Title
Active Duty Airman on White House Hunger Strike.
- Authors
CONDON, GERRY
- Abstract
An active-duty Air Force airman, Larry Hebert, is currently on a hunger strike in front of the White House to show solidarity with the children of Gaza who are being deliberately starved to death. Hebert, who recently joined the organization Veterans For Peace, was inspired by the self-immolation of active-duty Airman Aaron Bushnell. Hebert is protesting against the U.S. government's supply of bombs and rockets to Israel, which he believes is contributing to genocide in Gaza. He plans to continue his hunger strike until there is a ceasefire and an end to unconditional aid to Israel.
