Nuclear War? Climate Collapse? No Worries. WEF Says Disinformation is Humanity's Most Immediate Threat.

- Abstract
The World Economic Forum (WEF) recently held its annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland, where wealthy individuals and intellectuals gathered to discuss global issues. Surprisingly, their main concern was not nuclear war or climate change, but rather misinformation and disinformation. The WEF believes that false information and societal unrest caused by it could lead to the rise of populists and a decline in class privilege. While extreme weather was acknowledged as a long-term concern, the focus remained on the threat of misinformation. The article criticizes the Davos attendees for their lack of concern for more pressing issues and suggests that their fixation on disinformation may be a way to protect their own interests.
