- Abstract
The article offers information on the professional and personal development in young children educators. It states that the evolution of early childhood education presented the similarities of professional field and career which can be seen in the learning and professional development of teachers. It mentions several factors considered in the personal development in teaching early childhood education which include passion, perseverance, and willingness to be able to take risks. It adds that professional development requires the acknowledgment of distinctive features determined in the role of educators. Moreover, several factors were discussed in taking charge of professional development in teachers such as the recognition of one's philosophy.
