- Abstract
The article offers information on the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Accreditation process. NAEYC Accreditation process is comprised of four steps, which include enrollment/self study; application/self-assessment; becoming a candidate; accredited. It is asserted that there has been 645 achieved accreditation after the reinvented system and the implementation of the NAEYC Early Childhood Program Standards and Accreditation Criteria in September 2006 in the U.S. and its territories were introduced. Comments of people related to NAEYC, including Annie Frazer of the Jewish Community Center Early Childhood Center, Heidi Baker of Child and Family Development Center,and education specialist Beth Parr, are also provided.
