- Abstract
The article reports that alpha coefficient (α) is one of the most widely used for estimating reliability and is understood as a measure of internal consistency; that is, the degree of interrelation between items. Topics include limited reliability obtained in the study was due to the low number of items with a one-dimensional structure, following a normal distribution; and serve as an invitation to researchers to explore reliability by means of factor models from classical test theory.
