- Abstract
The author emphasizes the importance of constantly observing possible destructive pests when growing African violets. He recalls how he started growing African violets and details how he first encountered bugs in his plants. He explains how he prevented further infestation and mentions the lessons he had learned from said experience. The author also advises to always maintain cleanliness and to have awareness of how plants can easily be infected, especially at an annual show where hundreds of plants are sitting next to each other.
