The article reports on accommodations and assistive technologies, concrete topics, critical skills, explicit instruction, strategy instruction, systematic evaluation (ACCESS) towards writing instructions for intellectual disabled students in the U.S. It mentions the need for teachers in considering its factors in planning. It also notes that systematic instructional strategies allows students to get repertoires in written expression.
