- Authors
Kaufman, Debra
- Abstract

A feminist methodological approach suggests that a monolithic category, such as "the tradition," diminishes, if it does not entirely overlook, the real experiences of men and women in their daily lives and in the institutional contexts in which they live, and while practice remains the measure most aligned with Jewish religious identity, it, too, has multiple meanings.
