- Abstract
The article proposes the use of an innovative Arabic technique to teach decoding to dyslexic students through research-based systematic multisensory, systematic, explicit phonics approach and Orton-Gillingham approach. The authors note that the technique emphasizes font-modified, vocabulary controlled, cumulative, color-coded reading materials and orthographic. They add that the technique still needs to be tested to measure the effectiveness and maximize its benefits.
