- Abstract
This research is motivated by the problem that students still have difficulty memorizing Arabic vocabulary. Students are busy alone, lack of concentration in learning and lack of use of interesting learning media, especially in Arabic vocabulary material, which results in low students' ability to memorize vocabulary. To address this problem, the researcher is interested in applying the sam'iyyah wa syafwiyyah method. The formulation of the problem in this study is "Can the mastery of mufrodat Arabic be increased through the As-Sam'iyyah Asy-Syafawiyah method on fil baiti material in class IV SD Islam Assuniyyah Tulang Bawang?". This classroom action research aims to prove that there is an increase in students' mufrodat mastery of Arabic through the As-Sam'iyyah Asy-Syafawiyah method on fil baiti material in class IV SD Islam Assuniyyah Tulang Bawang. This research is a Class Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this study were students of class VII, totaling 20 students. This research was conducted in 2 cycles. Based on the following evidence, after carrying out learning activities by applying the As-Sam'iyyah AsySyafawiyah method, the increase in mastery of mufrodat in class IV students of Assuniyah Islamic Elementary School has increased. At the beginning before the action the average test score of students was only 13.3. Then in cycle I the average test score of students increased to 20. The increase in students' Arabic reading mastery was 23.3%. In the second cycle of action, it showed an increase in the average score of students' tests from the previous cycle, which was 20, and the increase in mufrodat mastery increased higher than before, which was 26.6%. This shows that students' mufrodat mastery can be improved through the application of the As-Sam'iyyah Asy-Syafawiyah method. The learning process by applying the As-Sam'iyyah Asy-Syafawiyah method makes students more active and can more easily improve mastery of mufrodat. This can also be seen from the results of interviews with students.
