The article reports on the study conducted which evaluates the significance of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) pathway on Ras-induced tumorigenesis. The inquiry analyzed embryonic fibroblasts of a mouse which were treated with various growth factors. The data acquired from the investigation revealed that the interaction of P13K is needed for both developmental and malignant growth-factor signaling.
