- Authors
Schmidt-Leukel, Perry
- Abstract
The article focuses on the Buddhist-Muslim dialogue from a Christian perspective. It says that the Muslim-Buddhist dialogue is relatively young although Muslim-Buddhist encounter is quite old. According to the author, a series of international dialogues between the two religions initiated by the Buddhist Dharma Master Hsin Tao started in 2002 in response to the Buddha statues in 2001. He also asserts the need for bilateral interfaith dialogue where both religious traditions can explore all the important details.
