- Title
PUBLIC TORT LIABILITY ADMINISTRATION ORGANIZATION, METHODS, AND EXPENSE.
- Authors
DAVID, LEON THOMAS; FRENCH, PATTERSON H.
- Abstract
The article offers information on the liability of public agencies in torts in the U.S. It is said that whenever there is a rise in tort claims in some volume, there arise important problems of administration as well as legal and judicial questions in any unit of government. Many claims are disposed of before actuality reaching court in public tort litigation. A large role can be played by the system that is set up for rejecting or settling claims in determining whether the proper claimants are paid. The present administrative methods and possible ways of improvement has not been researched much.
