THE DIVORCE MILL ADVERTISES.
- Authors
BERGESON, ROLLO
- Abstract
The article discusses the growing traffic of divorces and the problem of migratory divorces in the U.S. As reported, several U.S. states have followed each other's steps in changing legislation for divorces, which has encouraged the divorce traffic in those states. The Florida legislature came up with a ninety-day law for residence requirement, making divorce a wholesale business. According to the author, the social cost of this industry is simply not measurable. The divorce profiteers in the U.S. have resulted in the entry of Cuba and the Mexican states in the divorce business.
