- Abstract
The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons encourages research competency throughout Surgical Education and Training (SET) and research engagement as a medical student can be the first step in developing these skills. Improving research amongst medical students: what can we do to help? Within the clinical environment, medical students report barriers to research.1 Internationally, research collaboratives have been developed to encourage research participation; however, for medical students these have not been widely implemented.2 We therefore aimed to explore the views of medical students, and how a research collaborative would support research engagement.
