The author discusses the concept of critical race theory (CRT). Topics discussed include the critical theory in philosophy, critical theory in the humanistic social sciences, basic commitments of scholars of CRT including racism as central to the U.S. society, politics and law, innovative argumentative techniques and antiracist campaigns, the CRT's challenge, the critical theory of society from the Frankfurt Schoo and as explained by author, Lucius Outlaw and critical race aesthetics as a practice for enhancing skills and assembling the resources.
