- Abstract
In order to clarify the distribution of resistance genes such as rice blast, bacterial blight, and brown planthopper in conventional late japonica rice varieties (lines) bred in Zhejiang Province in recent years, 11 rice blast resistance genes (Pita, Pib, Pigm, Pikh/Pi54, Pi9, Pi1, Pi2, Pi5, Pit, Pb1, Pikm), 2 bacterial blight resistance genes (Xa21, Xa23) and 2 brown planthopper resistance genes (Bph14, Bph15) in 61 late japonica rice varieties (line ) Distribution. The results show that the highest detection rate of rice blast resistance genes is Pib, the distribution frequency is 91.80%, the distribution frequencies of Pikm, Pi2 and Pita are 68.85%, 67.21%, 63.93%, Pit, Pi5, Pi9 The detection frequencies of Pikh/Pi54 were 34.43%, 32.79%, 26.23%, 24.59%; the detection rates of Pb1 and pigm were low, 6.56% and 1.64%, respectively; Pi1 gene was not detected; brown planthopper resistance genes Bph14, Bph15 The detection rates were 6.56% and 11.48%, respectively. Bacterial blight resistance genes Xa21 and Xa23 were not distributed in 61 tested varieties (lines). Using molecular marker-assisted selection, Xa23, Bph14, and Bph15 were introduced into japonica rice and the resistance was verified. The results show that the above genes have good resistance. The distribution of disease and insect resistance genes of 61 new conventional late japonica rice varieties (lines) bred in Zhejiang Province has been clarified. The target resistance gene is transferred to the variety to be improved to provide a basis for cultivating a broad-spectrum multi-resistant rice variety.
