Mammalian browse damage to revegetation plantings in a national park.
- Authors

- Abstract
The article summarizes a study of Naomi E. Davis and Graeme Coulson to test the effectiveness of enclosures for herbivorous mammals in reducing revegetation planting damage at Tidal River ground. The results of the study indicate that large wire exclosures used in the trial were effective in protecting shrubs and saplings from herbivore browse damage. It suggests that large reusable wire exclosures would provide better protection than the small plastic tree-guards currently in use at the river.
