- Abstract
The article highlights a discussion on disabled children and support services on June 23, 3033 at the House of Lords of Great Britain. Lord Touhig asked the government what assessment it had made of the barriers preventing families with disabled children from adequately receiving support services. Lord Holmes of Richmond pointed out that only 22 percent of children with special educational needs or disabilities achieved the requisite levels of literacy and numeracy at the age of only 11.
