- Abstract
A 14-year-old male castrated domestic short hair cat was presented to an emergency service for skin wound and respiratory distress. One week before the emergency presentation, a primary care veterinarian noted decreased skin turgor, and treated the cat for a urinary tract infection with injectable cefovecin (dose unknown; Zoetis; Parsippany, NJ, USA). Skin fragility syndrome in a cat with feline infectious peritonitis and hepatic lipidosis.
