- Abstract
The article focuses on the debate between economist Frank Knight and American journalist Henry Hazlitt regarding welfare, freedom, and power. It provides profile of both Knight and Hazlitt and their respective stand of the important elements on economic welfare and freedom. The author also outlines the important lessons in the debate and suggests the importance of educating people better in fundamental economics to have better informed and realistic discussion on economic matters.
