- Abstract
The article investigates the impact of data precision on the calculation of temperature percentile indices. The monitoring, detection and attribution of changes in weather demands the need to gather the daily data on the condition of the climate. However, possible bias occurs when there is insufficient precision in temperature data and it eventually affects the estimation of the means and trends of percentile-based indices. Results of various research related to the climate and temperature changes prove that there are no accurate or fix results of individual observations in climate changes.
