- Title
TOURISM: Mali.
- Abstract
This section offers African tourism news briefs as of August 2011. The revival plan for tourism in Mali will offer tax relief and reinforcement of security after it has lost 108 million U.S. dollars (USD) due to Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQLIM) kidnappings of Westerners. Beaches in Seychelles were closed after a fatal shark attack on British honeymooner Ian Redmond. A German film-maker partnered with the Zambia Tourism Board (ZTBA) for promoting tourism in Zambia.
