- Abstract
The article presents a reflection on the poetry of French-Canadian author Paul-Marie Lapointe. The theme of terror, which is an emotion that is characteristic of Lapointe's poetry, is discussed. Lapointe's vision of the world, carried by his way of writing, is examined, as it consists of the poetic union of social and cosmic values, of both political and natural economy. The notion of earth, associated with the ideas of exhumation and burial, is analyzed. The books "Le réel absolu," "L'espace de vivre," and "Le vierge incendié," by Lapointe, are mentioned.
