- Title
The formation of secondary organic aerosol from aromatic hydrocarbon photo-oxidation.
- Authors
White, S.
- Abstract
The article focuses on a study which examined the role of aromatic hydrocarbons in Australian airsheds. A smog chamber was used to study the photo-oxidation of aromatic hydrocarbons. Results of the study showed that the initial hydrocarbon to nitric oxide ratio was important to the ability of each mechanism to accurately predict photo-oxidation products. It also found accurate model predictions in experiments with low concentrations of aromatics.
