- Abstract
The article presents research on the observations of volcanic plume altitude during the eruption of Eyjafjallajökull volcano in Iceland from April to May 2010. It shows the independent Web camera and radar time series. It shows good agreement between the time series for the availability of both series. It notes that data availability was found higher than for Web camera, while the radar altitudes are semi-discrete. It suggests the value of weather radars as plume monitoring devices.
