The article offers information on the use of the disposable gloves and gowns in the cataract surgery. Topics discussed include information on the attempts to rationalize medicine through verification of different practice patterns as well as the identification and elimination of unnecessary procedures; discussions on the impact of unnecessary tests and procedures in the U.S.; and the information on the elimination of wasteful and the non beneficial interventions.
