- Abstract
The article discusses the life of Jewish immigrants from Muslim countries in transit camps during the period from 1950 to 1967. It presents details of the Arabic journalistic discourse about the Jewish immigration during the period. The affiliation of several Arabic newspapers with the Israeli ruling party Mapai is discussed, as well as the use of these newspapers as means of communicating with immigrants from Arab countries.
