- Abstract
The article discusses the comparison between Christian liberation theology and socially engaged Buddhism through the perspectives of Jesuit liberation theologians and third wave feminist theologians. It highlights several key points of comparison including epistemological complements used in addressing suffering and extend unconditional love, interdependence of personal and social dimensions of people, and cultivation of interdependence and love in Buddhist and Christian spiritual practices.
