Ethical Behavior Brings Tangible Benefits to Organizations.
- Authors
Verschoor, Curtis C.
- Abstract
The article discusses the impact that ethical behavior has on positive business outcomes. A review of 13 academic studies conducted by Walker Information reports that ethical corporate behavior has an impact on employee relations, human resource efforts, customer relationships, and business performance. The author suggests that the Walker findings relative to employee loyalty may be addressed by a focus on ethical business behavior. A series of questions related to business ethics are presented.
