- Abstract
The article focuses on a program titled Book Buddies in which secondary literacy teachers and sixth grade students participated in pairs. The teachers were asked to reflect on their experience in participation in the program including the books that were read such as "Dork Diaries: Tales From a Not-So-Fabulous Life," and "Diary of a Wimpy Kid." Also mentioned are the importance of critical thinking and reasoning.
