- Abstract
We discuss models of the frustrated antiferromagnetic quantum spin systems and study their magnetic properties using the exact diagonalization technique. Three models are introduced; the frustrated antiferromagnetic spin chain with dimerization on next-nearest-neighbor interactions, the staggered and columnar frustrated zig-zag chain. Also, we study the energy gap and the magnetization parameter as a function of the magnetic field. The results have been shown the existence of the zero plateau beside the saturation plateau.
