- Abstract
The article discusses the developments related to health law in various states in the U.S. The South Carolina House Bill 3355 required a physician to perform an obstetric ultrasound prior to performing the abortion procedure while the South Dakota House Bill 1166 demanded physicians to provide women who seek abortion with a written statement with the effort to explain it to them. The Supreme Court of Connecticut uphold the rule to exempt private clubs and casinos from its smoking ban law.
