In this article, the authors discuss the manuscripts of major Middle English texts by the scribe Cornhyll. According to them, manuscript copies of seven different major Middle English works in four manuscripts can be assigned to Cornhyll. They argue that Cornhyll was London, England-based in spite of the Western spellings in his manuscript Canterbury Tales.
