- Abstract
The article presents a study on the optimization of xylanase production derived from Aspergillus niger for biobleaching of eucalyptus pulp. It mentions that the crude enzyme from Aspergillus niger is essential in the enzyme-aided bleaching of chemical pulps in pulping processes. It also notes that Xylanase treatment led to the 20 percent reduction of chlorine.
