- Abstract
Expressions for the stabilization energies of tetrahedral complexes in doped II–VI:3d crystals with a wurtzite structure have been obtained by the example of a CdSe:Cr2+ crystal within the linear problem of the Jahn–Teller effect. It has been shown that the crystallographic anisotropy of a hexagonal lattice leads to an increase in one of the global minima of the lower sheet of the adiabatic potential, which significantly differs from the adiabatic potential of the same complexes in cubic II–VI:3d crystals and affects isothermal elastic moduli and the manifestation of the Jahn–Teller effect in an ultrasonic experiment.
