The article presents a description of the socio-political and cultural life in the city of Accra, Ghana in the book "Oxford Street, Accra: City Life and the Itineraries of Transnationalism," by Ato Quayson. Topics addressed include the difference between feminist geographer Doreen Massey and Quayson regarding their views on spatial perception, the theme of the book and the ethnographic method used by Quayson in writing the book. The presence of women in the book is considered.
