- Abstract
Fourteen sorghum forage varieties planted in Alar area of southern Xinjiang were used as experimental materials. The forage yield, crude protein (CP), crude fat (EE), acid detergent fiber (ADF), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), crude ash and starch content of sorghum forage were determined and comprehensively analyzed by grey correlation degree. The results showed that the total fresh yield was 7.59×104~1.76×105 kg/hm2, and Lishen was the highest. The CP ranged from 7.37% to 7.64%, and 4264 was the highest. The EE ranged from 4.13% to 7.09%, and Juejia was the highest. The ADF ranged from 26.50% to 33.48%, and 4264 was the lowest. The NDF ranged from 50.30% to 54.66%, and Benchmarking was the lowest. The ash ranged from 4.94% to 7.67%, and 5D61 was the lowest. The strach ranged from 2.45% to 3.17%, and 5D61 was the highest. The experiment indicates that Lishen, Aurora, SX19, Jicao 8 and Hercules were suitable for cultivation in alar region.
