Title
snail trail.
Abstract
The article discusses "snail trail," a 360-degree laser animation loop projected onto a column designed by the German artist Philipp Artus. The two-minute-long animation tells the story of a snail as it evolves new means of locomotion. The projection surface is made from a phosphorescent material that causes the images to slowly fade out. The piece is accompanied with music by Madalena Graça.
