- Abstract
Qigequan area is located in the west of Qaidam Basin. In recent years, uranium exploration in this area has made a certain breakthrough, showing a good metallogenic potential. Based on the study of the structural characteristics, sedimentary evolution, epigenetic alteration and its relationship with uranium mineralization, the research showed that Qigequan area presented as a nose-like "short axis anticline" structure, and the target layer Upper Youshashan Formation was mainly controlled by the provenance from the Alaer area, which developed sediment by braided river delta and uranium mineralization with obvious zonation on the plane. The uranium mineralization was found jointly controlled by structure, sand body and oil-gas reduction, and the uranium mineralization may be enriched by the deep reductive oil and gas migrating along faults, unconformities and loose sand bodies.
