- Abstract
According to Islamic Law, divorce is the termination of marriage based on certain rules at the request of one or both of the couples who have married with a certain agreement. With the divorce, some rights and obligations disappear immediately, and some disappear after a certain period of time. Some of them are on the care of spouses and some of them on the care of children. The concept of Iddah is an important concept in divorce. It is necessary for a woman to wait for violence, to overcome a difficult psychological situation. The reasons for the claim are that if her husband has passed away, the woman mourns the death of her husband and comes out of this psychological situation, and if there is a child in her womb, quarrels are avoided. If the marriage contract has been concluded but no zafah or halvet has been realized if there is no iddah to wait for the woman in the divorce that has taken place, in this case, if the act of marriage has been realized (halvet / zifaf has been performed), in this case, if the woman is pregnant, the woman's term is until she gives birth. Mehir, alimony and Mut are concepts that have different rights and obligations. In this article, we will try to understand this issue in the axis of the Quran and hadiths.
