Comments on the study conducted by Eva S. Schernhammer, Jae-Hee Kang and Andrew T. Chan, which found that extended periods of regular aspirin use appear to be associated with increased risk of pancreatic cancer. Reference to previous studies on the topic, whose findings have been conflicting; Known risk factors for pancreatic cancer; Need for more studies to understand the mechanisms underlying the disease as well as the actions of aspirin.
