- Abstract
The article discusses the social problems faced by the U.S. Latino community. It highlights social problems such as immigration that affects the developments of country's labor force, international relations and structures for public education, and the increasing number of high school dropouts which are linked to family violence, illiteracy, and soaring teenage pregnancy rates. The community is advised to build up Latino intelligentsia to work with multiple sectors to solve community problems.
