- Abstract
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) are very relevant in university teaching, but inserting them in teaching depends on the level of their potential users' use and their previous attitude toward them. This study analyzes the relationship between the time and frequency university students have been using ICT, the kind of ICT training they have received and the difficulties that they may have experience depending on seniority as students. A questionnaire was applied to 877 students of La Laguna University using a contrast for nominal variables. The results indicate that the frequency and time in the use of the technology are related variables. No significant differences appear between beginner and expert students with respect to the ICT training they have received, nor concerning the difficulties they have experienced to use e-learning.
