- Authors
Tsakitopoulou-Summers, Tatiana
- Abstract
The article discusses portrayal of Helen, a celebrated female who represent feminist movement in the early twentieth century, in selected works of Homer, Sappho, Euripides, W.B. Yeats, Hilda Doolitde, and Kyriakos Charalambides. It is noted that appearances of Helen in the "Iliad" support the hypothesis that she manipulates feelings of men in her immediate environment as the only means of self-preservation.
