- Abstract
In thiswork, a sensor concept for simultaneously measuring the temperature and steam quality by vibrational spectroscopy of a pure substance, particularly of water, is presented. The infrared spectrum (IR) of a substance depends on the temperature and phase-fraction of theprobe. We describea transfer of thesewell knownphysical phenomena to a technical measurement system. Different algorithms for the simultaneous signal analysis of infrared spectra by phase fraction and temperature are proposed.
