- Abstract
Cicatricial alopecia (CA) encompasses a heterogeneous group of conditions characterized by the permanent destruction of hair follicles (HF), and irreversible hair loss. Surgical treatments of stable CA include scar excision, flap procedures, scar reduction with tissue expansion, and HRS. Old friend or new ally: a comparison of follicular unit transplantation and follicular unit excision methods in hair transplantation.
