- Abstract
The article discusses a cross-sectional study which examines the function of keratinized mucosa in dental implants. Findings of the study reveal that peri-implant health can be detected in areas with two millimeters (mm) of keratinized mucosa width. It concludes the need to make further longitudinal randomized studies to investigate the connection between the width of keratinized mucosa and peri-implant tissues.
