- Title
Find your way: Building an atlas from transcription factor activities in the Marchantia gemma.

- Abstract
The article discusses a study conducted on the liverwort Marchantia gemma, a type of plant commonly found in moist places worldwide. The researchers isolated the promoter elements of transcription factors in Marchantia and mapped their expression patterns in the gemmae. They identified different clusters of expression domains and cell types, which allowed them to reconstruct putative developmental pathways for cell differentiation during gemma development. The study provides a collection of promoters for all cell types in Marchantia gemmae, which can be used as markers to visualize specific cell types and manipulate gene expression.
