- Abstract
The article re-evaluates how science and religion are said to represent worldviews in mutual conflict. Topics include a conception of worldview according to French philosopher Rene Descartes and others like astronomer Galileo Galilei and Thomas Hobbes, a brief overview of the conflict between science and religion, and a discussion of the phenomenon called disciplinary mimesis and the art of living or spirituality.
